August Press Release: Dillon County Health Initiative Offers FREE Plants and Seeds

The Dillon County Health Initiative (DCHI), a division of Rural Area Leadership Initiative – Dillon County (RALI-DC), is prepared to address the health issues in Dillon County head on with intentional programs and services.

DCHI is offering FREE collard and turnip plants for fall gardening. The plants and seeds will be available at the Clemson Extension Building (200 S 5th Ave, Dillon, SC 29536) on Wednesday, August 31st.

You have a good strategy of engaging the people to plant organic vegetables nowadays because in the present time, many have been creating some vegetables and fruits in a synthetic way. You must adhere your advocacy to your local government so that they may support this campaign in your community. There are lots of benefits in planting vegetables in your backyard and turn it into a garden someday. I recommend also that you must create some training and seminar to make them more persistent in this activity. I am looking forward for your project!
