About Us

The Dillon County Health Initiative (DCHI) stems from the Rural Area Leadership Initiative ​(RALI), a coalition comprised of established groups and organizations that focuses on identifying key issues in Dillon County.

Significant issues with the health and wellness in Dillon County have been identified. RALI  has developed key criteria and focus areas to improve the health and awareness in Dillon County through DCHI.  

The Dillon County Health Initiative  focuses on the three areas (Dillon, Lake View and Latta) collectively and individually. By providing fruits and vegetables for planting,  implementing new programs and building relationships with community organizations, DCHI hopes to create a healthier culture in the county.

Who Qualifies for
​Particpation

•  All Dillon County residents are eligible to participate with DCHI programs and offerings.
• Residents living outside of city(town) limits are also eligible for participation.
• All current offerings are FREE of charge! We only ask that you help spread the word.
